| Dominican's Institute for Leadership Studies, in the School of Business and Leadership, offers a Leadership Certificate designed for professionals to enhance their leadership capabilities seeking new strategies to lead in these tough economic times. In moments of crisis, organizations need individuals who can make a difference. The Leadership Certificate, comprised of 6 one-day Saturday sessions, provides leadership development training in a variety of areas. In addition, the Leadership Certificate offers coaching to address each participant's individual needs (personal and organizational).
- Leading Strategically (September 19) Determine what the right decisions are, and then how to proceed.
- Building and Leading Teams (October 3) allows participants to gain the understanding and tools to build effective teams in the workplace.
- Leading by Resolving Conflict (October 17) trains participants to address conflicts within the workplace as well as disputes between their organizations and others.
- Leading by Leveraging Global Diversity(October 31) motivates participants to create globally inclusive organizations.
- Persuading in Print (November 14) teaches participants the right style for each document while conveying your distinctive voice.
- Persuading in Person (December 12) provides participants the tools and techniques to persuade people one-on-one or in groups.
Tuition
The 6-session certificate tuition is $2400.
An additional $100 discount will be offered for each of the following:
- Early Bird Discount: Individuals who register on or before September 4, 2009.
- Group Discount: Two or more concurrent registrants in the complete certificate.
- Tuition for Not-For-Profit Organizations is $1,800 (The other discounts do not apply).
