Lady Penguins get back on track in Women's Volleyball; Pecora

The Dominican Lady Penguins rebounded from two conference losses last week to
once again tie for second place in the Cal Pac with wins over Simpson and
William-Jessup University this past weekend

Gabby Pecora had 27 kills and 18 digs and Lorel Grande had 14 kills and 11
digs as Women's Volleyball defeated both visiting opponents in three straight
games. Sophomore Setter Brooke Swingle returned from an injury with 8.3 assists per game and a
team leading nine service aces. Pecora was named Conference Player of the Week
for her performance.
The team's conference record now stands at 8-3 and 8-10 overall with four matches left on the
season. The team will host its final home match of the season this Saturday when
it hosts Pacific Union College at the Conlan Center. That match will begin at
7:30 p.m. The team's graduating seniors will be honored in a pre-game ceremony
by coaches, teammates, family and friends as part of Senior Night.
