Part of the 2008 Dominican Spring Classic Meadow Club, Fairfax April 21, 2008, 5:30 p.m.

The First Annual Dominican Helicopter Ball Drop will be held on Monday, April 21 at 5:30 p.m. at the Meadow Club in Fairfax. A maximum of 500 consecutively numbered golf balls will be dropped from a helicopter hovering 400 feet over a mock green on the ninth fairway. Cash prizes of $10,000, $5,000, $2,500 and $1,000 will be awarded to the four individuals whose golf balls come to rest closest to the flag.

The entry fee is $100 per golf ball. The entry deadline is 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time on April 14, 2008.

Proceeds support the construction of a new University Athletic Complex.
